The RNLI is made up of dedicated people who are working to make the waters around the UK and Ireland a safer place. From the volunteers who launch and crew the lifeboats, run the shops and raise funds, to the staff who support them, we are working as one crew to save lives at sea.

Our volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour rescue service in the UK and Ireland and our seasonal lifeguards patrol busy beaches. RNLI crews and lifeguards have saved over 146,000 lives since 1824. We’re more than just a rescue service – we influence, supervise and educate people too.

Whoever you are, or wherever you are from, as you go on the journey of planning your wedding and looking to your future together, we want to be able to reach out to as many people as possible with our water safety campaign ensuing even when you are honeymooning that you know how to stay safe in water. 

The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea. It is thanks to the generosity of people like you who help us to stay afloat and save more lives at sea ensuring we can reconnect loved ones when things go wrong in the water.
